Dieser unscheinbare (Plastik-)Streifen, auch Antifriktionsstreifen genannt, wird bei allen Mini-Lenkgetrieben zwischen dem U-Bolzen und der Zahnstange verwendet, wahrscheinlich weil der U-Bolzen aus hartem Stahl und die Zahnstange aus weicherer, grob gegossener Legierung besteht.
