INSTALLATION

To ensure compliance with NZTA regulations, all daytime running lights should be installed separately from your headlights. Additionally, the fog lights must be adjusted downward by about three degrees to optimize visibility without blinding other drivers.

If your vehicle’s suspension hasn’t been upgraded to handle additional weight—typically between 60-100kgs—we strongly recommend adding a suspension upgrade, especially in the front. This helps support the extra weight of the elite steel bullbar and optional winch (if fitted). Without suspension upgrades, there’s a risk of front-end sagging and a bumpier ride, which could lead to damage over time. Proper suspension ensures your vehicle maintains its handling, ride comfort, and safety when fitted with this heavy-duty steel bullbar.

When installing your elite steel bullbar, leave a minimum gap of 10-15mm between the bar and the vehicle body. This spacing allows for independent movement of the chassis and body during off-road crawling or when flexing on uneven terrain, helping prevent unnecessary stress or damage to the mounting points and vehicle structure.
