INSTALLATION

Installation on your Toyota Fortuner requires separating the daytime running lights from the headlights, as per NZTA regulations, and adjusting the fog lights downward by about three degrees for optimal performance and legal compliance. It's recommended to upgrade your suspension if it hasn't been enhanced to support the added weight of the steel bullbar and any optional accessories like a winch—especially in the front. Upgrading the suspension prevents sagging, which can cause a rough ride or even damage your vehicle over time. If you stick with factory suspension, expect some front-end sagging and bumps, especially when carrying extra weight. To ensure proper fitment and prevent rubbing or interference, leave at least a 10-15mm gap between the bullbar and the vehicle body, allowing for chassis and body movement during driving.
