INSTALLATION

To comply with NZTA regulations, all daytime running lights (DRLs) should be installed separately from your headlights. Also, keep in mind that the fog lights need to be adjusted to three degrees downward for optimal performance. These small setup details are important to ensure your vehicle remains road-legal and functions optimally after installation.

If your truck’s suspension isn’t upgraded to handle an additional 60-100 kg load, especially when fitting the elite bull bar and optional winch, we highly recommend looking into suspension upgrades beforehand. Upgrading the front suspension prevents sagging, reduces bumpy rides, and minimizes potential damage caused by the added weight. Without proper suspension support, your vehicle could experience excessive wear or handling issues over time.

When fitting the bull bar, leaving a minimum gap of 10-15mm between the bull bar and the vehicle’s body is key—this allows for independent movement of the chassis and body during driving, preventing unnecessary stress or damage.
