GT HOOP STEEL BULLBAR - MITSUBISHI MV TRITON 2024+

Meet the Rockarmor GT Hoop Steel Bullbar for the Mitsubishi MV Triton—designed to give your vehicle an aggressive, modern look that complements its bold new styling. This bull bar isn’t just about looks; it’s built to boost your Triton’s protection, especially when exploring rough terrains. Its high-clearance, approach angle-friendly design means you can take on off-road challenges with confidence, knowing your front end is well protected while maintaining good ground clearance for obstacles.

The redesigned square centre hoop seamlessly integrates with the signature GT wide hoops, creating a strong and visually striking front end. This hoop steel bullbar offers comprehensive frontal protection — whether you're navigating urban streets or tackling tough trails. It features rated recovery points, which are essential for safe off-road recovery, making sure you’re prepared in any situation. Plus, there's easy access for a winch, making self-recovery straightforward if you ever get stuck. The bullbar also includes mounts for antennas, high lift jacks, and other accessories, helping you customise for your specific off-road needs. Importantly, it’s designed to work harmoniously with the factory safety systems of your Mitsubishi MV Triton, so all sensors and cameras remain functional.

Built tough with serious 4WD adventurers in mind, this hoop steel bullbar standing up to demanding conditions offers peace of mind along with that rugged, stylish look.

  • INSTALLATION

When fitting the bull bar, keep in mind that to meet NZTA regulations, all daytime running lights should be installed separately from the headlights. Additionally, the fog lights need to be adjusted downward by about three degrees for optimal compliance and safety. Proper installation not only keeps you road legal but also ensures your bull bar functions perfectly over rugged terrain and challenging conditions.

If your vehicle’s original suspension isn’t upgraded, especially if you plan to add a steel bumper and optional winch, we strongly recommend upgrading your suspension system—particularly at the front—to handle the extra weight (around 60-100kgs). Unsurprisingly, without proper suspension support, your vehicle's ride quality can suffer, and the front may sag, leading to a bumpier ride and potential damage over time. Upgrading suspension helps distribute weight better, maintains ride comfort, and prolongs your vehicle’s lifespan.

When installing the bull bar, maintaining a gap of approximately 10-15mm between the bullbar and the vehicle’s body is a good idea. This space allows for independent movement between the chassis and body, preventing undue stress or cracking during off-road adventures or everyday driving.
