INSTALLATION

When fitting the hoopless steel bullbar, it’s important to follow NZTA regulations — all daytime running lights (DRLs) should be installed separately from your headlights, and the fog lights should be adjusted downward by about three degrees to ensure proper illumination and compliance. Proper installation ensures both safety and optimal performance of your bull bar.

If your vehicle’s suspension isn't upgraded to handle additional weight — particularly the 60-100kg of the bullbar, optional winch, or other accessories — we highly recommend considering a suspension upgrade. Especially in the front, this helps maintain ride quality and prevents sagging, which can lead to uneven wear or damage over time. Running factory suspension under a heavily loaded bullbar will likely cause discomfort and could compromise vehicle integrity during tough off-road conditions.

To prevent unwanted contact between the bullbar and your vehicle body, we suggest leaving a clearance of at least 10-15mm. This gap allows for independent movement of the chassis and body, reducing stress and potential damage during off-road driving or when navigating uneven terrain.
