    • INSTALLATION

    To make sure everything's within compliance, especially in NZ, all daytime running lights should be installed separately from your headlights. Also, don’t forget to adjust the fog lights down by three degrees to avoid glare and ensure proper visibility.

    If your vehicle's suspension hasn't been upgraded to handle the extra 60-100kgs of the steel hoop bull bar and optional winch, we highly recommend doing so — particularly in the front. Factory suspension systems might sag or become bumpy, risking damage over time and reducing ride comfort. Upgrading your suspension will help keep your Prado balanced and performing at its best, even with the added weight of the bull bar and accessories.

    When fitting the bull bar, leave a gap of about 10-15mm between the bar and your vehicle’s body. This helps accommodate chassis movement and prevents stress on the mounting points, ensuring long-term durability and preventing unnecessary vibrations or damage during off-road adventures.
