INSTALLATION

To make sure everything runs smoothly and meets NZTA requirements, all daytime running lights (DRLs) should be installed separately from your headlights. Also, remember that the fog lights need to be adjusted downward by approximately three degrees to optimize their performance and comply with local regulations.

If your vehicle’s suspension isn’t upgraded, especially if you plan to add weight from the bull bar or an electric winch, it’s recommended to consider suspension upgrades—particularly in the front. Without these adjustments, your suspension may sag under the extra weight, leading to a bumpy ride and potential damage over time. Upgraded suspension will help maintain proper handling and protect your vehicle’s chassis from undue stress.

When fitting the bull bar, leave a minimum of 10-15mm gap between the bull bar and the vehicle body. This space allows for chassis movement and prevents undue pressure on the body and frame during driving, especially over uneven terrain.
