Installation

To meet NZTA requirements, all daytime running lights should be installed separately from your headlights. Also, the fog lights should be adjusted downward by three degrees to ensure compliance and safe operation on Australian roads.

If your vehicle doesn’t already have upgraded suspension, especially in the front, we strongly recommend upgrading before fitting the bull bar. The additional weight of the bumper and optional winch can cause the factory suspension to sag or become bumpy, which might lead to further damage or uneven tire wear. Proper suspension upgrade ensures your ride remains smooth and maintains handling performance even with a heavy-duty bull bar like the Rockarmor GT.

When installing, leave at least 10-15mm clearance between the bull bar and your vehicle’s body. This gap allows for independent movement between the chassis and body, accommodating flex and avoiding potential paint or structural damage over time.
