INSTALLATION

To ensure compliance with NZTA regulations, all daytime running lights need to be installed separately from your headlights. Remember to set your fog lights at a downward angle of about three degrees for optimal visibility and safety during night or foggy driving.

If your vehicle’s suspension isn’t upgraded to handle additional weight — particularly 60-100kg for the bull bar and any accessories like an electric winch — we strongly recommend upgrading your front suspension. Factory suspensions aren’t designed for these added loads and may sag or cause a bumpy ride, which could lead to further damage down the line. Proper suspension upgrades help maintain your vehicle’s handling, ride comfort, and safety.

When fitting the bull bar, leave a minimum gap of 10-15mm between the bar and your vehicle’s body. This clearance allows the chassis and body to move independently without causing undue stress or damage during aggressive off-road use or heavy impacts.
