INSTALLATION

To keep everything compliant with NZTA standards, make sure to install your daytime running lights separately from your headlights. Additionally, fog lights should be adjusted downward by three degrees to prevent glare and meet local regulations.

If your suspension isn't upgraded to handle additional weight—roughly 60-100kg—we strongly recommend beefing up your front suspension. A proper suspension upgrade will prevent sagging, improve ride comfort, and protect your vehicle from potential damage caused by the added weight of the bull bar or optional winch. Running factory suspension without upgrades could lead to handling issues and accelerate wear on your vehicle components.

When fitting the bull bar, leave a minimum of 10-15mm gap between the bar and the body of the vehicle. This spacing allows for independent movement of the chassis and body during driving, which helps prevent stress or damage over time.
