FITTING OF BULLBAR

When installing your rockarmor GT steel hoopless bullbar, it's important to follow local regulations—especially in New Zealand, where all daytime running lights should be installed separately from your headlights. Also, ensure fog lights are adjusted downward by about three degrees to avoid dazzling other drivers.

If your vehicle's suspension isn’t upgraded to handle the extra weight (typically 60-100kgs for the bullbar and optional winch), it’s strongly recommended that you upgrade your suspension, particularly in the front. This helps prevent sagging, improves ride comfort, and maintains vehicle handling, especially if you’re fitting a steel bumper or an electric winch. Without this, the suspension may wear prematurely or lead to uneven tire wear or further mechanical issues.

Leave a gap of at least 10-15mm between the bullbar and vehicle body during fitment. This ensures sufficient clearance for the chassis and body to move independently during off-road driving, avoiding undue stress on mounting points or body panels.
