INSTALLATION

To stay compliant with NZTA regulations, all daytime running lights should be installed separately from your headlights. Additionally, the fog lights integrated into your bullbar need to be adjusted downwards by about three degrees for optimal performance and safety. Proper installation of these features is key to ensuring your vehicle meets legal standards while maximizing visibility and safety during night or foggy conditions.

If your vehicle’s suspension isn’t upgraded to handle an additional 60-100kg weight, particularly when adding a steel bullbar and optional winch (if fitted with an electric winch), we strongly recommend upgrading it accordingly. Especially in the front, a suspension upgrade helps prevent sagging or bumpy rides, which could cause further damage over time. Factory suspensions are typically not designed to support this extra weight comfortably, so investing in improved suspension is a smart move for maintaining ride quality and vehicle longevity.

When fitting the steel bullbar, leaving a gap of about 10-15mm between the bullbar and the vehicle body is best practice.
