Bull Bar info:
Made and rigorously tested in Australia, Rockarmor’s Elite steel bullbar is all about providing top-tier front-end protection while keeping your vehicle looking tough. Crafted with a robust 63mm diameter cross tube, this steel bullbar is designed to absorb impacts and safeguard key areas like your headlights, grill, and engine components from animal strikes, accidents, or debris. It’s built to keep debris and obstacles out of your path while maintaining optimal airflow to your radiator and engine, helping prevent overheating during demanding off-road excursions or city driving.
Designed for versatility, the Rockarmor’s Elite bullbar is perfect for vehicles that regularly transition between on-road cruising and off-road adventures. Each bullbar undergoes a strict testing process to meet high safety and durability standards, giving you confidence that your vehicle will be well protected no matter where your journey takes you. The rugged steel construction ensures longevity and resistance against harsh conditions, making it a smart upgrade for those serious about vehicle protection and style.
INSTALLATION
To stay compliant with NZTA regulations, all daytime running lights should be installed separately from your headlights. Also, it's recommended to adjust the fog lights to a downward angle of three degrees for optimal illumination and safety. Proper installation not only maximizes the bull bar’s protective features but also ensures your vehicle remains legal and safe on the road.
If your vehicle's suspension isn't upgraded to handle additional weight — specifically 60-100kgs — we strongly recommend investing in suspension enhancements, especially in the front. This is crucial if you plan to add a steel bullbar or optional winch, as these components significantly increase the load at the front of your vehicle. Without suspension upgrades, there’s a risk of front-end sagging, which can lead to a bumpier ride and potentially cause damage over time. Upgraded suspension helps maintain ride quality, handling, and long-term vehicle integrity.
When fitting the bull bar, leave a gap of about 10-15mm between the unit and your vehicle’s body. This space allows for natural movement of the chassis and body during driving, preventing stress and potential damage to mounting points or the vehicle’s frame. Proper spacing also aids in avoiding squeaking or rubbing noises over uneven terrain.
