INSTALLATION

To stay compliant with NZTA regulations, all daytime running lights should be installed separately from your headlights. Additionally, the fog lights need to be adjusted downward by three degrees to meet safety requirements. Proper installation not only ensures compliance but also maximizes the performance and safety benefits of your steel bullbar.

If your vehicle's suspension isn’t upgraded to support an additional 60-100kgs, especially if you plan to install a winch or heavy-duty accessories, we highly recommend doing so beforehand. Upgrading the front suspension will help prevent sagging, maintain ride quality, and protect your vehicle from potential damage caused by the added weight. Running factory suspension without modifications could lead to excessive front-end sag, a bumpier ride, and possible long-term issues with your vehicle’s structure.

When fitting the bullbar, leave a minimum gap of 10-15mm between the bullbar and the vehicle body. This space allows for independent movement of the chassis and body, accommodating slight shifts during driving without causing undue stress or damage. Proper spacing also makes future maintenance easier and prevents rattling or contact with other components.
