Bull Bar info:
Designed & tested right here in Australia, Rockarmor’s premium steel bullbar offers exceptional front-end protection without compromising airflow to the engine. Built with a sturdy 63mm diameter heavy-duty cross bar, this bullbar shields your vehicle against potential animal strikes and road hazards that could damage your headlights, grille, or engine components. Its robust construction and thoughtful design balance strength with functionality, making it suitable for both on-road adventures and off-road exploration.
The rockarmor’s premium steel bullbar is subjected to strict testing protocols to ensure maximum durability and reliability. Whether you're navigating city streets, cruising down highways, or tackling rugged trails, this bullbar is engineered to withstand tough conditions and give you confidence while driving.
INSTALLATIONProper installation is key to maximizing your bullbar's performance and safety. To meet NZTA requirements, all daytime running lights should be installed separately from your headlights for proper visibility. Additionally, make sure to adjust the fog lights downward by three degrees to avoid glare and ensure efficient lighting. This attention to detail not only keeps you compliant but also enhances your vehicle’s safety during nighttime or poor weather driving scenarios.
If your vehicle’s suspension isn’t upgraded to handle the additional weight of the steel bumper and optional winch—which can range from 60-100kgs—we highly recommend installing a suspension upgrade, especially in the front. Factory suspension setups are not designed to support these heavier loads, which can lead to sagging, a bumpier ride, and even potential damage over time. Upgrading your suspension ensures your vehicle maintains optimal handling and comfort, protecting your investment and enhancing off-road capability.
When fitting the bullbar, leaving a gap of at least 10-15mm between the bullbar and the vehicle body is advised. This space allows for independent movement of the chassis and body, minimizing stress and helping prevent any premature wear or damage. Proper spacing is an important part of ensuring long-term durability and safety, especially when tackling uneven terrain or sudden impacts.
