Bull Bar info:
Designed and tested in Australia, Rockarmor’s premium steel bullbar offers top-tier front-end protection for your vehicle. Crafted to balance rugged durability with functional airflow, the bullbar features a heavy-duty 63mm diameter cross bar that shields the full front of your vehicle, helping prevent animal strikes that could damage vital parts like headlights, the front grill, and engine components.
This bull bar is perfect for drivers who hit both on-road and off-road adventures, providing confidence in tough conditions. It undergoes rigorous testing, so you can count on its reliability and ability to withstand impact, ensuring your vehicle stays protected no matter where your journey takes you.
INSTALLATION
To meet NZTA requirements, all daytime running lights should be installed separately from your headlights, ensuring legal compliance and optimal visibility. Additionally, the fog lights need to be adjusted downward by about three degrees to improve their effectiveness and prevent blinding oncoming traffic.
If your vehicle’s suspension isn’t upgraded to handle the added weight of the steel bullbar and optional winch (especially if you’re installing an electric winch), we strongly recommend upgrading it—particularly at the front. Factory suspension may not support the extra load, leading to potential sagging or a bumpy ride, which could cause further damage over time. Proper suspension upgrades help maintain ride quality and protect your vehicle’s chassis and body integrity during heavy-duty use.
For best results, we suggest leaving a gap of at least 10-15mm between the bullbar and the vehicle’s body when installing. This space allows for independent movement between the chassis and body, accommodating flex and preventing stress on the mounting points, which is crucial for longevity and safety.
