INSTALLATION

When fitting your new bull bar, remember that all daytime running lights (DRLs) should be installed separately from your headlights to stay compliant with NZTA regulations. Also, adjust the LED fog lights to a three-degree downward angle to optimize beam focus and prevent glare on other drivers.

If your vehicle's suspension hasn’t been upgraded to handle an additional 60-100kg load — especially if you plan to install a steel bumper or optional electric winch — we strongly recommend upgrading your suspension beforehand. Factory suspensions might not support the added weight, which can cause the front suspension to sag, leading to a bumpier ride and potential damage over time. Upgrading your suspension in advance will help maintain your vehicle’s handling, comfort, and longevity.

Leave at least a 10-15mm gap between the bull bar and your vehicle’s body during installation. This clearance allows for independent movement between the chassis and body, accommodating shifts during off-road driving or when the suspension flexes, helping prevent unnecessary stress or damage to the bumper or vehicle structure.
