4x4 Parts & Accessories in the Auckland Region
Kren Bits delivers 4x4 parts and accessories across the whole Auckland Region, from Wellsford in the north to Waiuku and Pukekohe in the south: Rockarmor bullbars, RAW 4x4 and Ultima 4x4 lift kits, winches, driving lights and rock sliders. We are an online-only New Zealand store with no Auckland branch. You order online, we deliver, and you fit the parts yourself or take them to your local mechanic. Our bars and kits are bolt-on and come with their fitting hardware.
Towns we deliver to in Auckland
The Auckland urban area is home to about 1.5 million people, but the region stretches well beyond the city into farmland, forests, west coast beaches and Hauraki Gulf islands. Our local pages cover the main centres:
- 4x4 parts in Auckland: North Shore, West, East and South Auckland, with Woodhill, Muriwai and Riverhead nearby.
- 4x4 parts on the Hibiscus Coast: Orewa, Silverdale, Millwater and the Whangaparāoa Peninsula.
- 4x4 parts in Pukekohe: Franklin's market-garden centre, close to Karioitahi Beach and Waiuku Forest.
We also deliver to every smaller town in the region, including:
- Warkworth: a rural town at the head of the Mahurangi River, about 64km north of Auckland, now bypassed by the Pūhoi to Warkworth motorway that opened in 2023.
- Wellsford: the northernmost major settlement in the region, where State Highways 1 and 16 meet, with dairy and sheep farming roots.
- Helensville: on the Kaipara River near the southern end of the Kaipara Harbour, with Parakai next door and Woodhill Forest on the South Kaipara Head.
- Kumeū-Huapai: wine and orchard country about 25km northwest of the city on State Highway 16, and about 17km from Muriwai.
- Snells Beach: on the Mahurangi Peninsula about 8km east of Warkworth, next to Algies Bay and Sandspit.
- Waiuku: on the Waiuku River at the base of the Āwhitu Peninsula, near the Glenbrook steel mill and Karioitahi Beach.
- Beachlands: a fast-growing coastal suburb on the Pōhutukawa Coast about 20km east of the city, next to Maraetai.
- Waiheke Island: reached by the SeaLink car ferry from Half Moon Bay to Kennedy Point, with many narrow unsealed roads on the eastern half of the island. If you are ordering a bullbar to Waiheke, call us first so we can confirm freight to the island.
Bullbars travel by freight and smaller parts by courier. Tell us your vehicle and we'll confirm the part number first. Use the vehicle finder at krenbits.com or call 021 288 6816.

Lift kits for Auckland 4x4s
RAW 4x4 2-inch kits suit modern utes and wagons, with front coils, rear leaf springs and nitrogen-charged shocks matched to your load. Ultima 4x4 covers older and less common models.

Every lift kit needs a wheel alignment after fitting. 2-inch kits are chosen to stay within normal road-legal limits for most vehicles; bigger lifts, body lifts or oversized tyres may need LVV certification, so check with a certifier.
4x4 tracks and clubs across Auckland
Beach driving. Muriwai and Karioitahi are the only Auckland beaches where general driving is allowed, and both need an Auckland Council beach driving permit, renewed each year. Beaches are legal roads, so all road rules apply, and driving is limited to three hours either side of low tide. In recent summers Muriwai has been closed to vehicles from 31 December to 13 January. On every other Auckland beach, vehicles are only allowed to launch or retrieve a boat.
Woodhill Forest. About 12,500 hectares of pine forest on the South Kaipara Head. 4WD use needs a permit, and a dedicated 4WD park inside the forest covers about 2,250 acres of sand hills and clay.
Riverhead and Waiuku forests. Riverhead Forest, at the top of the Waitematā Harbour, is gated, with 4WD trips run as organised, permitted group events. Waiuku Forest in the south is a regular Auckland Four Wheel Drive Club venue.
Clubs. NZFWDA-affiliated clubs in the region include the Auckland Four Wheel Drive Club (formed in 1969), Shore 4 Wheelers, Rodney Off Road Club (Silverdale), Norwest OHV Club (Kumeū), the NZ Jeep Club, the Land Rover Owners Club (Auckland), Counties 4 Wheelers (Papakura), the Manukau Four Wheel Drive Club, the Road Less Travelled Club and Wilderness Ridge Riders.
Fitting your parts
Kren Bits parts are designed for DIY. A bullbar is a two-person bolt-on job, and a lift kit is a bolt-in job with a hoist or good axle stands. If you would rather not do it yourself, take your parts to your local mechanic, 4x4 workshop or auto-electrician anywhere in the Auckland Region. Always book a wheel alignment after suspension work.
