Ordering & shipping
Do you ship to my country?
Yes — we ship throughout New Zealand, Australia, and internationally. NZ and AU orders ship free on the majority of our range. International orders ship worldwide; freight is calculated at checkout or quoted before dispatch, and any customs duties, import taxes, or tariffs are the buyer's responsibility.
How long does shipping take?
NZ orders typically dispatch within 1–2 business days and land in 2–4 business days. Rural NZ addresses can take longer and may incur a rural surcharge. AU orders usually 5–10 business days depending on postcode. International — varies by country, quoted at checkout.
Is shipping really free?
Free standard shipping on the majority of our range to NZ and AU addresses. Oversized/freight-only items (bullbars, roof racks, full suspension kits) may incur additional shipping charges — these are clearly displayed at checkout or communicated before dispatch. Rural/remote addresses may have a small surcharge.
Can I track my order?
Yes — you'll get a dispatch email with a tracking link once your order leaves us. You can also check status from your account.
What about customs and duties on international orders?
Customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, and any other charges levied by your country are the buyer's responsibility. Kren Bits cannot mark international packages as 'gift' or under-declare values to reduce duties — please don't ask.
Fitment & fitting
How do I know it'll fit my vehicle?
Every product page lists compatible vehicles. If you're unsure, get in touch with your year, make, model, and trim — we'll confirm before you buy. Fitment guarantees apply for the specific variants we list; outside those, fitting may need modification.
Do you fit gear in-house?
No — we work with a network of vetted partner installers across both New Zealand and Australia. See the fitter page and we'll match you to a partner near you.
How much does fitting cost?
Varies by product and installer — typical ballparks: bullbar fit 4–6 hours / NZ$400–$600 / AU$450–$650, suspension lift 4–8 hours / NZ$500–$800 / AU$600–$900, rocksliders 2–4 hours / NZ$250–$400. Your installer will quote direct before booking.
Can I fit it myself?
Most products ship with manufacturer fitting instructions and you're welcome to DIY. Note: incorrect fitting voids product warranty, and some products (airbag-compatible bullbars, GVM upgrades) legally require a certified installer in both NZ and AU.
Payment
Do you do Afterpay?
Yes, on everything. Four interest-free instalments. Standard Afterpay terms apply.
Do you offer trade pricing?
For mechanics, fitters, and 4×4 shops — yes. Get in touch with your business details and we'll set up a trade account.
Returns & warranty
What's your return window?
7 days from delivery to initiate a return claim. The product must be unused, uninstalled, in original packaging with all included hardware and documentation, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Once installed, modified, used, or damaged, returns are not eligible.
Is there a restocking fee?
Yes — all returns and cancellations are subject to a 25% restocking and administration fee, deducted from the refund. This applies to change-of-mind returns, customer-incorrect orders, and refused/uncollected deliveries. It does not apply to returns of defective or damaged-on-arrival products.
Who pays return shipping?
For change-of-mind or wrong-order returns, the customer pays return shipping (must be tracked and insured). For products that arrive defective or damaged, Kren Bits arranges and covers return shipping.
What if a product arrives damaged?
Note any damage on the courier manifest at delivery (or refuse delivery), then contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos. We deal with the freight company and arrange a replacement.
How long is the warranty?
12 months standard from delivery on most products. Some manufacturers offer longer (lifetime structural on certain bullbars, etc.) — noted on the product page. Full warranty terms here.
How do I claim warranty?
Use the warranty claim form on the warranty page. Have your order number, photos, video, vehicle details, and fitting details ready. Straightforward claims are typically resolved in 3–5 business days; complex claims requiring product return take 10–15 business days.

Do you have a showroom I can visit?
We're online-first — no public showroom. If you want to see a product before buying, your nearest partner installer may have it in stock or fitted to a demo vehicle. Get in touch and we'll see what we can sort.
Do you do custom orders / sourcing?
Yes — if you've seen something overseas we don't list, message us with the brand, product, and a link. We source globally and can usually quote and bring it in.
