About Kren Bits

Kren Bits / Kren Offroad is a global 4×4 parts and accessories store, run by Kiwis, serving the toughest country on either side of the Tasman. We don't pretend to manufacture in a back-shed — we go and find the best gear from anywhere it's made, and sell it to ute owners across New Zealand, Australia, and the rest of the world.

Why we exist

Kren was founded in 2020 by Karl after years of watching mates pay rip-off margins for 4×4 gear that was built three time-zones away. The brands and components that actually perform on a Coromandel beach run, a Cape York mission, or a Southern Alps hunt aren't sitting on every dealer shelf — and the ones that are, you're paying for the dealer's marble floor.

The Kren idea: source the best 4×4 gear in the world directly, cut out the layers nobody asks for, and sell it at prices that make sense to the people actually using it.

What we sell

Bullbars, suspension lifts, rocksliders, roof racks, underbody protection, towing and recovery, wheels and tyres, lighting — and over a million OEM and aftermarket parts. We focus on the utes that earn their keep on both sides of the Tasman: Hilux, Ranger, Colorado, BT-50, D-Max, Navara, Triton, Amarok, Patrol, LandCruiser 76/78/79, plus newer arrivals like the GWM Cannon, BYD Shark, and Kia Tasman.

How we work

  • Globally sourced. We work direct with manufacturers in Australia, the US, Europe, Japan, and beyond. The best gear isn't always built locally — but we make sure it's available locally.
  • Globally sold. NZ and AU customers get free shipping on most of the range. International orders ship worldwide; freight is calculated at checkout, customs duties are on you.
  • Fitting partners NZ-wide and AU-wide. We don't fit gear in-house. We work with vetted 4×4 installers across both countries — get in touch and we'll match you with a partner near you.
  • 12-month warranty as standard. Some products come with longer manufacturer warranties — noted on the product page.
  • Afterpay on everything. Because a $2,400 bullbar isn't always a one-paycheque purchase.

What we believe

4×4 gear should be priced for the people who actually use it — tradies, farmers, hunters, weekend warriors, and the people who genuinely take their utes off-road. Not boutique-priced for content. We stock what works, skip what doesn't, and stand behind every order.
