The 3M Automotive Performance Masking Tape provides the best adhesive transfer resistance, hugs curves, contours & provides outstanding paint lines. The highly-comformable tape sticks easily & is perfectly balanced to give outstanding results. Additionally, this particular tape is waterborne paint compatible.
The specially formulated adhesive can provide the sharpest paint line on a plethora of surfaces including, but not limited to moldings, plastic, glass, metal, rubber & painted surfaces. The tape helps achieve a clean removal without slivering for up to two days of outdoor exposure & longer indoors. The 3M Automotive Performance Masking Tape has excellent transfer resistance including resistance to paint bleed-through, good adhesion to steel, good tensile strength & good temperature resistance up to 121ºC for up to 30 minutes.
