The Crank Angle Sensor is a device which detects the position and rotation angle of the crank shaft. Similarly, the Cam Angle Sensor is a device which detects the position and rotation angle of the cam shaft and sends the information to the ECU. A failing Crank Angle Sensor or Cam Angle Sensor will cause problems such as sudden engine stalling or cutting out, rough idling and difficulties with starting the engine. To avoid these issues, it is important to replace a faulty Crank Angle Sensor or Cam Angle Sensor as soon as possible.
