PWRs Heat Exchanger/Transmission Cooler Kit delivers exceptional cooling performance, seamless installation, and striking designhallmarks of the quality and engineering excellence for which PWR is renowned. The 300 Series Land Cruiser is known to experience significant power reduction and heat soak under demanding conditions, particularly when towing in high ambient temperatures. This issue stems from the factory-installed, side-mounted heat exchangers located behind the front bumper. Due to their limited exposure to airflow, especially in hot climates, they struggle to effectively dissipate heat. As a result, coolant entering the water-to-air intercooler remains too warm, leading to elevated intake air temperatures and a noticeable drop in engine performance.

They typically feature wide single rows of tube with either standard profile or close mesh fin configurations for maximum flow & cooling efficiency tailored to street or track conditions. Barbed fittings or male threaded Dash Fittings are available, and all manufactured by hand in PWRs state-of-the-art facilities on the Gold Coast.
