If your 97-06 Jeep TJ feels a bit flat off the line, a cold air intake is one of the easiest wins you can make. This Rough Country unit pulls cooler, denser air from outside the engine bay — away from the heat soak that chokes your factory airbox — and routes it straight into the combustion chamber where it can do some real work. The result is a noticeable improvement in throttle response and a decent bump in horsepower without cracking open the engine.
- Moves the air filter away from hot under-bonnet air for cooler, denser intake charge
- Large diameter tube and cylindrical filter design improve airflow over the stock enclosed airbox
- Includes a premium reusable air filter — clean it rather than replace it
- Straightforward bolt-on install, no specialist tools required
- Backed by Rough Country's Limited Lifetime Warranty
- Note: Does NOT fit TJ models with a body lift fitted
As NZ's official Rough Country importer, Magwarehouse stocks this and the full Rough Country range right here in Manukau. Give us a call on 09 250 1803 if you want to talk fitment for your TJ before ordering.
