If you've lifted your Jeep Cherokee XJ by 4.5 inches or more, you'll know the handling can start to feel a bit agricultural once those control arm angles get too steep. This Rough Country Control Arm Drop Kit is the fix — it relocates the upper and lower control arm mounting points to bring those angles back into a more natural range, which makes a real difference to ride quality and day-to-day drivability.
Suits Jeep Cherokee XJ models from 1984–2001, both 2WD and 4WD, running a minimum of 4.5 inches of suspension lift up to 6.5 inches.
- Lowers upper and lower control arm mounting points to correct arm geometry
- Noticeably improves ride quality and handling after a big lift
- Straightforward bolt-on installation — minor drilling required
- Designed specifically for XJ Cherokees with 4.5–6.5 inch lift
- Built by Rough Country, a brand Magwarehouse has officially imported into NZ since 2002
Got questions about compatibility with your XJ build? Give the team a call on 09 250 1803 or swing by our Manukau workshop — no appointment needed.
