If you're building a serious trail rig out of your Jeep Wrangler TJ (or Wrangler Unlimited), this Rough Country Front Stubby Winch Bumper is a solid upgrade worth considering. The stubby design cuts down front-end overhang, giving you better approach angles and more tyre clearance when you're picking your line through rocks or ruts.
Built from high-tensile steel with a black powder coat finish, it's made to handle real off-road punishment — not just look the part in the car park. The recessed winch plate keeps your winch tucked in and protected, with an externally mounted fairlead for easy access during recoveries. Fits most popular winches, though Rough Country recommends testing fit for non-RC brands.
- Stubby profile for improved clearance and approach angles
- Recessed winch mount with external fairlead
- High-tensile steel construction with black powder coat
- Bolt-on installation using factory mounting points — no cutting required
- Compatible with 1997–2006 Wrangler TJ and 2004–2006 Wrangler Unlimited
- Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects
As NZ's official Rough Country importer, Magwarehouse stocks the full range right here in Manukau. Pop into our workshop at 8 Lambie Dr — no appointment needed — or give us a ring on 09 250 1803 to chat fitment.
