If your Jeep Wrangler JK feels a bit breathless on the trails or the open road, a cold air intake is one of the most straightforward upgrades you can make. This Rough Country Cold Air Intake is built specifically for the 3.6L Pentastar engine found in 2012–2018 Wrangler JKs, and it's a genuine bang-for-buck performance mod.

The idea is simple — move the air filter away from the hot engine bay so your engine breathes cooler, denser air. More oxygen in the combustion chamber means better throttle response and a noticeable bump in horsepower without touching anything major under the bonnet.

  • Designed specifically for 2012–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L (petrol only — not suitable for diesel)
  • Relocates the filter away from engine heat for cooler, denser airflow
  • Large diameter tube and cylindrical filter design improves flow over the stock airbox
  • Comes with a reusable, washable air filter — no ongoing filter costs
  • Straightforward bolt-on install, no cutting or fabrication needed
  • Backed by Rough Country's limited lifetime warranty

As NZ's official Rough Country importer, Magwarehouse stocks this direct and can fit it at our Manukau workshop — no appointment needed. Give us a call on 09 250 1803 to grab yours or chat about what it'll do for your JK.
