If your Jeep Wrangler TJ or Cherokee XJ is running tired, worn-out shocks, these Rough Country V2 Monotube front shocks are a solid upgrade worth considering. Sold as a pair and designed to work with 1–3 inch lift setups, they're built for Jeep owners who want noticeably better performance on and off the road — whether that's weekend trails, beach runs, or just daily driving with a bit more control.
The monotube design with an internal floating piston keeps oil and high-pressure nitrogen gas separated, which means consistent damping and no cavitation — even when things get rough. A 46mm high-flow piston handles the hard work, and the T6061 brushed aluminium body helps shed heat fast so performance stays reliable under pressure. The inverted body-up mounting also gives your Jeep a clean, purposeful look.
- Fits 1984–2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ (2WD & 4WD) and 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ (4WD)
- Suits 1–3 inch lift applications
- Monotube nitrogen-charged design for consistent, fade-free damping
- 46mm high-flow piston with 36kN tensile strength
- T6061 aluminium body with black anodised accents
